So today won't happen again
This I can promise you
I've been stupid from way back when
But tonight I know all too well what I have to do
Beyond the metal breaking point I am
From here I knw not where to go
I feel weird inside like a vegetarian eating ham
It makes no sense asking me why I feel like so
This is because I am uncertain of who I am
So my logical answer to you would be I don't know
Maybe I shouldn't complain maybe I shouldn't fuss
Well I am breathing and I am alive
So to many I shouldn't be feeling as such
But to me my life has taken a dive
In waters so deep it makes no sense trying to swim
People say be positive and lift ya head up
But the chances of optimism for me is slim
All the hope and faith I had was emptied out of my cup
Therefore it's neither empty nor full
No silver lining no pot of gold at the end of a rainbow
No luck in my charms no pep in my step because all is dull
All my defences and esteems are low...
No entertainment so no need to be seated
Listen... I am defeated
